Bio Hello, I'm Jess (my nickname from a few friends was "Kee") and this is my writing journal. I have a 'real' journal under the name of pyraterose if you're interested. I love friends, so go add me :D
I've been writing since fourth grade and began writing fan fiction before I even knew what it was. It started with a writing assignment in sixth grade, and my friend wrote a story called "The Christmas Kidnapping of Nsync". In it, the two of us rescue Nsync from an overworked, over-stressed St.Nick. The story was going to spawn a few more holiday-themed spin-offs, however the two of us got into a fight and stopped talking for a few years (everything's better now, if you're wondering). During that time, I took over the story, changing A LOT of things. By the time I finished it in the beginning of ninth grade, it was nowhere near the original, except my character's name.
It turned into a bona-fide, angsty mary-sue, complete with backstory of dead parents and being afraid to love. Give me a break, it was my first one and I was only thirteen!
In tenth grade, I met my friend Kimmy. She started telling me how she writes this stuff called fanfiction. I was in awe. You mean there are millions of other people writing this stuff? And I can post it online for people to read? Cool! I then got into Pirates of the Caribbean fan fiction, and wrote a bunch of fic for that fandom.
Last December, a girl at school introduced me to the music of Rent. I thought the music was amazing, so I went to see the movie on a whim and fell head-over heels in love. I have TONS of fic for this fandom due to my membership over at speed_rent.
As dorky as it sounds, I still write Lance Bass fiction, even though I'm almost eighteen and Nsync hasn't released a new album since I was in sixth grade. :'(. Oh well.
I also have a few misc. fics from fandoms like Day After Tomorrow (a one-shot poem) and two stories for 21 Jumpstreet. I also write Phantom of the Opera and Harry Potter once in awhile.
Thanks to those who read through that, and to those of you who have read/are going to read my stories.
